I rang this week, pick fords, barnes and monkey removals. Monkey removals came out first .... After hours and Tim was great, asking me what I wanted not what could be done. Very impressed. Just a quick note to say Thank you for a wonderful service provided for moving Charles and Margaret from ***** to *****. I did not get any other quotes for anyone because of your consideration on that first day when they were out and you were so good about it and reassured me they were not in a heap on the floor!!

The service was excellent, the chaps considerate of their age and were patient throughout, it has been a long ordeal for my sister and myself and we are well worn out now, but are happy they are where they are.

The removal guys where efficient and courteous with a great sense of humor, they packed my house contents on to the lorry in next to no time making my move out of ********** smooth and stress free.

Like wise for the delivery of my furnisher to **********, it was unloaded with ease, delivered to the appropriate room with speed and humor.

What a great team you have, I cannot think of anything you could do to improve your service, I will be recommending you to all who are thinking of moving.

I did check all my e mails, and recalled all my deleted mail, but there wasn’t anything from you.The fact remains that I was more than happy with your company, and the service you provided. I will always recommend you to anyone I know who is moving in the future.

I think I was very lucky to get Matt and Dale. They are an exceptional team. It is unusual to find someone as young as Matt who treats people and their belongings with such care and respect. He could specialise in moving old pensioners like me, because he has the right attitude. I think you should promote him, and he and Dale could show others how it’s done!

I am pleased I used Monkey and wish you all every success in the future.

Just wanted to drop you an e-mail to say thank you so much for the fantastic service provided by yourselves and your removals team for our Big Move on *****.

Apologies for not sending sooner but BT and Sky Broadband doesn't work out in the sticks of ***** and we've had to wait to have an enormous satellite dish installed so that we can successfully connect to the internet!

The service provided by the team at Monkey was excellent from start to finish. The office team are friendly, professional and caring, and at all times we felt that we were in safe hands. As you know, I was particularly worried about this move, having had several very bad experiences in the past with the allegedly leading UK removals company, amongst others.

The removals team, headed up by Nick and ably assisted by Kev and Dale, were absolutely excellent. Nick was, we felt, the most experienced removals supervisor we'd seen, taking great care with all our furniture and with the walls and ceilings of the house we were vacating and where we were moving into. This was no mean feat, with some of the items of furniture being very large and made of solid wood, and some of the ceilings and doorways on the new house being very low!

All in all, the best move that we've ever done, and considering that we've done around 12 in the last 15 years, that's a big compliment from the ***** family!

We're all settled in now and the cottage feels very festive and cosy. Thanks again to Monkey Removals for helping us to feel at home from the first moment that the furniture was safely in place.

Dear Tim,

When you carried out the assessment on my recent domestic relocation from ***** to *****, I highlighted that your company was the most expensive of the five firms from which I requested information and of the four that I interviewed. Yet, without a single breakage (not even a ‘chip’) of any of my much-prized bone china and no single scar or scratch on any of my items of furniture (that was not already present!), the move took place effortlessly and easily.

Moving home is actually far more traumatic than I could remember from my previous exercise over a decade ago. The number of small items that needed to be dealt with, the change of address details, bills, suppliers and so on mount up. I was exceedingly grateful for the eminently practical checklist that accompanied your quotation and would venture to suggest that it might be one of the most useful pre-move aspects that I had to hand.

The pre-packing service, of which I availed myself, was carried out efficiently by your first-class team, as I continued to work at my desk. The ever-cheerful and professional lads scarcely disturbed me and I was able to continue working almost up to the point of my exceptionally heavy and awkward desk being loaded onto your removals truck.

Even the fateful day-of-the-move was amazingly glitch-free, despite the fact that I was moving into a smaller and less accommodating property. It is amazing how much ‘stuff’ a chap can accumulate over a surprisingly brief part of a life! However, your resourceful and helpful team relieved me of an immense burden, for which I am exceedingly happy. No single task was too much for them and it never ceased to amaze me, how they managed to squeeze over-size items into their appropriate slots around the new house.

In fact, thanks to the careful pre-planning, after just three days of living in the new property, most of the living area was looking as homely and welcoming as it needed to be and I started to feel very much ‘at home’. I know that none of this feeling would have been possible without the judicious, positive attitude and advice presented by your staff. Whatever you pay them is simply not enough!

Finally, I would recommend Monkey Removals services to anybody looking to reduce both the trauma of relocating and the effortlessness with which the operation took place. You may have been ‘premium priced’ but your service was faultless and the cost to me was minimal, especially after the fact. In my past, one of the world’s largest removals firms (Pickfords) carried out a move for me. I was still battling with the company for damages caused at the time for several months after the move, a factor which only served to increase my concerns about my recent relocation.

While I may have harboured some early issues about the name of your company, I wish to assure you that such a sassy business nomenclature bears no relation to the high quality of service that was provided. You are total stars! Please give my personal thanks to the entire team, most especially Craig, whose attention to detail, on-site direction and phenomenally positive attitude are an example to anybody in your business sector. I would trust Monkey Removals to the ends of the earth.

The delay was beyond your control, communication was excellent though and, with my house moving experience, the extra time I'd built in came to good use.

Hats off to everyone for working so late to get the job done while managing to reduce my stress levels by sending me to the local pub!

I was very pleased to see you take genuine care of my stuff, choosing to split the load to prevent damage rather than cram everything in taking the easy option. So far, I haven't found anything missing or broken.

Your staff was polite, very helpful and more or less forbid me to carry anything heavier than a cup of tea - which I gladly served them!

Hello Nicki and Tim,

First of all, let me say thank you for the way you helped us plan the move properly by reducing the amount of kit to move and then the way your team Craig, Wayne and Nick packed the vans. I could not believe that you could unpack the vans and locate the boxes in the right rooms in two hours. Tim, our 13 year old cerebral palsy grandson Guy was particularly impressed with the way you gave a running commentary when you rebuilt the mahogany sideboard, the grand father clock and the baby grand piano. So a big big thank you from the whole family.

I used my time at the last Business Club meeting to tell them how pleased we were, what a good commentator you are Tim and to mention that you are the only Kitemark qualified removals company in Lincolnshire. I will get that across again in my article for the club web site.

Turning to the double bed , mattress and wardrobe. Unless you know some one who would like them for nothing, we would like to give them to the Heart Foundation who are willing to collect. Please let me know what you would like us to arrange.
